Register now - give employers the opportunity to offer you a job.     Job Description   We are looking for someone would be interested in helping us develop our two year old son by engaging him in play sessions. Our son is currently under assessment for autism, however following a very successful year of therapy he has made incredible improvements in all areas, and he is now starting to become interested in playing and engaging with people. And we would like to develop his social interaction skills by employing a nanny/babysitter who would be willing to continually engage him in play based activities. It can sometimes take a little effort to get him engaged, but once engaged he is a very happy and fun loving child, and it can be very rewarding to see him enjoying himself. Experience with autism is not essential, but willingness to continually try to engage with him and play lots of games key to helping him develop. Since playing with him can be quite hard work, we envisage each play session would last around 2 hours. Initially, we would be looking at 1 session per week but would like to work up to 2-3 sessions per week. The sessions would most likely take place between 9am to 11am, and the days will vary. The selection process would involve a 30 minute trial so see how successful the candidate is at engaging him, as we think this would be the best way to find candidate that could best help his development.       I have the following number of children:  1  My child(ren) are the following age(s): 2 - 5 years         Position Type: Live-Out, Part Time  Work Hours: less than 20 hours/week  Position Duration: As Long as Needed  Do You Have a Valid Driver's License?
