Experienced, proactive and flexible live-in nanny-housekeeper required for a family home in Cheshire on a long-term basis. Working a minimum of 30 hours per week (possibly more). Hours will vary, but typically. Monday to Friday 9am-2pm and a half day at the weekend (normally Saturday mornings) when the family are in residence. Lovely position working for a family with a 1 year old and newborn (due May). Some days will be housekeeping orientated and other days nannying. This will be on a rota basis. The family have 2 small dogs which you will be required to walk as and when required and look after them when the family are away. Essential requirements: • Non smoker, fit and in good health • Must have a driving licence to do nursery runs and run errands. • Housekeeper experience • Nannying experience and preferably paediatric first aid • Exceptional organisation, personable and friendly manner Housekeeping You will be responsible for all the housekeeping, including laundry, ironing, cleaning and general day to day duties and organisation involved in running the large household. Candidate must be a meticulous, thorough, efficient cleaner with an eye for detail. You will be required to do some light family cooking and some children's' cooking. This role requires experience in running a large home as well as housekeeping and cleaning experience. Nannying The family have a 1 year old son and are expecting their second child in May. Applicant must be very child friendly, one child is in nursery 2 days/week. The mother is very hands on. Evening babysitting required at least once per week. Candidate must be a confident driver and happy to do occasional nursery run and sometimes taking children to baby classes. Must have nannying (and newborn) experience and preferably paediatric first aid. General The family are looking for a trustworthy, hard working, loyal and discreet applicant willing to commit long term and fit into the family. They are a very busing working family so you will be required to work on your own initiative and have a high standard of work, as well as excellent command of English. May be required to join the family on occasional weekends away and family holidays.
