The Nanny or Au -Pair will be supervising my two sons in my home and they are aged 5 and 12. My 12 year old has specific language impairment and although he can speak fluently,he sometimes does not understand complex instructions and caring for him requires patience, calmness and clear boundaries and expectations. I require a person to make sure that the two boys are not arguing and fighting over Computer and TV and not doing these activities for long periods. To make sure they do other activities such as reading , playing football etc or playing with their toys. My twelve year old would need support with his School homework due to his Specific Language Impairment and the Nanny or Au-Pair would need to break the Homework down for him. The job requires a person who is willing to make and serve a light meal for the boys of which the ingredients would be provided for or it may mean simply heating frozen packaged food like a frozen pizza or cooked food and requires washing up dishes. The job from time to time but not daily may require light housekeeping tasks sometimes such as sorting out washed clothes. I do have a sixteen year old boy too in the house but the job does not require any supervision of him.. The job requires encouraging both boys to read in the afternoons after school at least for twenty minutes. Ideally the Nanny or Au pair should be willing to take the boys out to the local park to play football when the weather is nice. I would like a person who is CRB checked and who can can demonstrate they can be strict but fair, I am willing to consider male or female. Ideally some experience with Special Needs children especially Specific Language Impairment would be great but is not essential. The person needs to be caring, supportive but firm in their boundaries and have a willingness to learn and consider the impact of Specific language Impairment.      I have the following number of children:  3  My child(ren) are the following age(s): 5 - 10 years, over 10 years of age         Position Type: Live-Out, Part Time  Work Hours: less than 20 hours/week  Position Duration: As Long as Needed  Do You Have a Valid Driver's License?
