My daughter is a bright, 5 year old child, who will be attending school in nearby Stockbridge from August 2013. My son will be 5 months old and will be attending Nursery in Inverleith from around the same time. Hours of work would be 7.15am to 9.15 am and from 2.30pm to 8.30pm two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) – Total 16 hours per week. There may be additional opportunities for work in the form of ad hoc Fridays or additional holiday care from time to time, but this is not guaranteed. You would be required to arrive at the family home each morning to assist with breakfast and dressing the children, then dropping them both off to School and Nursery respectively. The children will need to then be collected from school/nursery from around 2.30pm and will require care until around 8.30pm, to include provision of dinner, baths and bedtime. Requirements: -Recognised qualification in child -minding/ childcare or directly related discipline OR qualification by experience. -Proven experience of caring for children of a similar age within a formal working environment -Excellent communication skills -A friendly, approachable personality with willingness to participate fully in the care of the children, facilitating play and entertainment as well as general domestic care such as meal preparation. -Must have own car with full and clean licence -First aid qualification would be an advantage The successful person will be expected to hold or to gain membership of the PVG scheme (at their own expense) and any offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of two satisfactory references.       I have the following number of children:  2  My child(ren) are the following age(s): Newborn - 3 months, 5 - 10 years         Position Type: Live-Out, Part Time  Work Hours: less than 20 hours/week  Position Duration: 1 - 2 years  Do You Have a Valid Driver's License?
