| You will be required to work approximately 45 hours per week, and this will typically be in a “split-shift” fashion. This will typically be 7.30am to 11.00am, and then 2.00pm to 7pm Mon-Thurs, and to midnight on Friday. However, due to the nature of my work, I will be required to travel fairly frequently, so this is a guide only as I will require someone who will be flexible to cover overnight care, or other requirements that may pop up from week to week. |

| I am looking for a live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to come to Zurich with me from early 2013. I have a son, Joseph, who is 6 years old, and the primary focus of this role will be to ensure Joseph settles into life in Zurich and builds up a social network. The purpose of the role is also to ensure that the apartment is kept neat and tidy so that when I am not at work I am able to spend my time with Joseph.
I have listed the main responsibilities of the role below:
Nanny – approximately 67 per cent of time spent on Nanny duties
Taking and collecting Joseph from school
Helping Joseph to complete his homework assignments
Taking Joseph to appointments e.g. doctors, dentist etc.
Comforting, looking after and supporting Joseph if he is sick or upset
Reading stories to Joseph
Taking Joseph to extra-curricular classes e.g. swimming, football etc.
Arrange and participate in social activities – groups, inviting Josephs friends over for tea etc.
Acting as chaperone on flights to/from UK to visit father (max. 4 times per year)
Any other such similar and reasonable responsibilities as may be required from time to time
Housekeeper – approximately 33 per cent of time spent on Housekeeping duties
Cleaning – hoovering, dusting, tidying etc.
Laundry – Washing, ironing
Preparing meals (including breakfast, dinner, and packed lunches for Joseph)
Organising grocery shopping
Any other such similar and reasonable responsibilities as may be required from time to time
