We are looking for a sole charge Nanny based in Welwyn to look after our 2 daughters. Our current Nanny has been working with us for two years and has just given her 3 months notice to pursue a career in Midwifery :-) The position would be available from 14th December 2012 but would include a handover period prior to this with our current Nanny. The Nanny's duties would be: - Caring for 2 children: 3yr old girl and 1yr girl - Ensure both children’s activities are linked to EYFS framework for their age - Preparing all food for the children in a hygienic manner - Ensuring play areas and children’s bedrooms are clean and safe at all times - Responsible for the laundry of both children - Reporting any accidents immediately to the employer - Administering medication only with the prior permission of the employer - Baby sitting at times agreed in advance - Taking children to nursery and playgroups (a car will be provided) - Accompanying family on holidays abroad if required - Keeping a scrapbook of EYES activities enjoyed with the children Experience/Qualifications - Valid CRB - First Aid desirable or training will be offered - Ideally Level 2 qualified - Full clean Driving Licence - Previous experience in a childcare setting Holiday: Nanny’s holiday entitlement is 20 days in addition to the usual public and bank holidays.
