Hi. My names is Sarah and I'm 22 years old. I live in Irlam, Manchester. I live with my mum and dad and one of my brothers. Being the youngest of six children, I have grown up to love being around people and spending time with my family. I am a Jehovahs Witness, which has given me an opportunity of meeting many new people and visiting interesting places. In my Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses there are many children and babies and I have always loved being able to spend so much time around them. I'm sure the parents love this too as they always have a babysitter on hand to help.
I have worked for just under a year in a nursery. I worked with various age groups from 0-4 and really enjoyed this job. Being able to learn so much about children's development and how each child is unique was very beneficial. I have undergone safeguarding training and first aid.
I no longer work in this job as I was covering maternity leave but I thoroughly enjoyed it and would like to continue working with children. |
