Hello my name is Amber Dean I am 20 and currently living in Glasgow city center. I have good time management skills that enable me to be organised and efficient within every job I obtain. I am fun, energetic and out going, which are vital qualities to have when looking after children. One of the most rewarding aspects of childcare for me is watching the child in your care grow and progress. Being able to teach a child something new and have fun at the same time is the most rewarding aspect for me, which is my main reason for wanting to become a Primary school teacher and why I relish the opportunity to work with children of all ages.
my personal interests involve running, playing netball and dance as I love to keep active and have fun. I am also very creative and can draw/ paint.

I have had a year of experience now nannying for a family of three children. from an age range of 7, 5 and 1 years. My duties have included cooking dinner, picking the children up from school, getting them ready in the mornings and at night for bed. Prior to this I have had 4 years of experience working with children of different age groups through Madras College dance school, where I taught age ranges of 3-13 year old's tap and modern jazz dance. I have also set up two placement within primary schools in Scotland and London assisting the class teacher for 2 weeks.
I have also had personal experience with children, as I have a baby cousin of 2 years old who I have looked after frequently. |
