  About me:

I am a 20 year old student who is studying Travel & Tourism in her last year at college and is now looking for full time work. My main passion from the age of 4 has been sport where I have played at a high level in football, swimming & badminton. My other hobbies include cooking, music, fundraising, fitness, walking my dog & travelling. I currently live at home with my mum, dad, brother & my dog in the Bradley Stoke area. All of my experiences have been in sport but my goal in life is to make a difference, help others & do whatever I can to succeed in life after wasting so many years so because of that, I guarantee you that I am the best person to look after your children. I am great with children, responsible, patient, out going, hard working, flexible & motivated which I feel are important attributes to have for this role. I am a media volunteer for beat, ambassador for the This Girl Can campaign and I raised over £1400 for 2 charities by doing two skydives. I am currently doing some more fundraising throughout this year for Beat. I am open minded with most things really so there isn't much I don't like so you wouldn't need to worry about that.

  Work Experience & Education Background

Work Experience 0 Yrs, references 3
Most of my experiences & achievements have been in sport and because of that, I haven't much experience in childcare apart from the time where I have looked after the sister of a child with learning difficulties. However, do to my personality and the qualities I have, families will have nothing to worry about if they were to put there faith in me. I am trustworthy any job I am given, I give it 100 and take it very seriously. I would make sure that the child/children are properly fed, washed, clean clothes and keeping them entertained whether that means me playing with them, reading them a story, going to the park/cinema/swimming pool and more importantly I would always make sure that they are safe and that they know what the rules are.

Childcare experience within the following age groups:
special needs children
Education/Training:
High School, Graduated High School or Equivalent, College
I went to Bradley Stoke Community School and for my GCSEs I had to drop a few subjects due to health reasons so I ended up studying English(C), Maths(E), Science(D), ICT(C) & PE BTEC(Merit). I then went to SGS Filton College where I studied a course called Preparation for Work & life which would involved CV work, team work exercieses, functional skills, trips and many other subjects in order to help you get ready for work. But again, I ended up dropping out 2 more times in 2 years but the college allowed me to come back each time and i finally completed the course on the 3rd time. Just to reassure you, I am completely fine now and there is no issue around my health. I then went onto studying Level 1 Travel & Tourism and now this year I am doing Level 2 where I completed a 6 week work internship in Seville.

Joanna Nowak
Joanna Nowak is not a previous employer. Due to being ill throughout most of my work experience and not being there long enough at all, I felt I would choose someone who can give a better incite and detail. I met her last in March which was around the time my illness was at it's worse. She came into my life my chance and being a personal trainer, she completely saved my life and I can now call her a true, loyal friend and not just my personal trainer. She knows who I am and what my qualities are, she knows that I work hard, responsible and she is also a reliable reference.

Kirsty Ashofrd
Kirsty was my Level 1 Travel & Tourism Tutor who supported me so much during that year at college and knowing that I was also struggling with my illness, she did everything in her power to make things easier and was always there for support. Now that I am well & happy again, she can give you a really good description about the person I was in her lessons and the person I am now because even though she isn't my tutor any more, she knowns how well I am doing and that I am currently doing amazing things and she has been apart of that.
