About me:

I consider myself to be a friendly, caring and enthusiastic individual. I believe I have many valuable strengths which range from working well with people of all ages, as part of a team, also ability to use my own initiative and excel at working on my own. I am always willing to learn and relish new challenges i encounter.

I have a level 2 certificate in early years care and education and participated in a language and play course.
Although i only did a one year placement in a school nursery, i have over 20 years experience with children as i helped my disabled mother to raise my sisters, from them i now help to raise my nieces and nephews, they all mean the world to me.

I love interacting with children and teaching them knowledge from things ive learnt, but also love learning new things from them, as children are all individual and like an open book you never know which way one will react to something.

I am an open-minded and non judgemental person as parenting is and can be a very hard job, many aspects can affect a child on any one day, i feel that it is very important to have a good understanding of individual children and behaviour, which is why i constantly try reading up on new articles online to keep my knowledge up-to-date. i consider myself to be a patient, caring and considerate individual which takes pride in my excellent communication skills, everyone always comments on how good a listener i am.

I am a creative person, i always enjoy making gifts for family and friends. I always make cards and do little craft projects with my nieces and nephews. I love to listen to a variety of music, and watch a variety of movies, plus read a variety of books. I have a passion for learning, so I do a lot of research online.
