  About me:

Hello. I am a fun, caring and friendly primary school teacher, currently based in Morley. I am 25, I specialise in the Early Years and I am fully DBS checked - this was recently updated in September 2019. After teaching internationally in Thailand for two years and then moving back to teach in the UK, I have been unsure as to whether teaching is the career for me. Whilst I am still not 100 sure on my teaching career, I do know that I love working with children and feeling like I have had a positive impact on someone's day. I love being silly, being creative, reading stories, playing games and being active. I think being outside is important, as well as communication, and I try to incorporate as much learning into play as possible.

My main experience lies within education. I graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree as a Primary School Teacher. I then went onto teach for two years in an International School as a Reception Class Teacher (ages 4 - 5). during my second year I was promoted to Early Years Leader.
Prior to university, I spent time volunteering in primary schools and after school clubs to gain a wider range of experience with children in all age groups.

I also have a great deal of experience of caring for children within my own family. As the eldest child of 6, I have grown up babysitting and looking after children - particularly my three youngest sisters, now aged 6, 8 and 10. Since they were born I have regularly babysat and taken care of the girls for weeks at a time. The age groups I have the most experience in are newborn - 10 years.

To Whom It May Concern, I have known Paige Jasper in a professional capacity for two years as her supervisor at Prasarnmit Primary International Programme. During this time Paige was a Reception classroom teacher and in her second year became Foundation Stage Leader. I worked alongside Paige as another Reception teacher, managed her as her supervisor and worked alongside her in the leadership team. Prasarnmit Primary International Programme is an international programme teaching the English National Curriculum and International Primary/Early Years Curriculums in Bangkok, Thailand. Paige is an extremely hard working and dedicated teacher and employee. During her time she developed initiatives and implemented changes, including renovating the outdoor learning environment and implementing the new early years curriculum. Paige spent time researching and learning so that she could feedback and lead the foundation stage team and wrote a policy on the new curriculum to ensure consistency. Paige is a creative teacher and spent time researching, planning and organising her lessons. In all her observations Paige was praised for her classroom management and lesson planning which catered to the variety of needs in her classroom. Paige adapted to the challenges of teaching in a school where some children need extra support with their English language skills and additional learning needs. Paige sought advice and support when needed and made changes in her teaching and environment that had an excellent impact on individual progress. Paige is able to develop excellent rapport and relationships with the children in her class and around the school. These relationships meant that children enjoyed learning in her lessons and were nurtured in a safe and secure environment. Paige also developed excellent relationships with other staff and took on additional responsibilities, such as being part of a team to organise the end of year showcase of learning for parents and pupils. Paige is an easy going, friendly and empathetic person which means she can work with a variety of people, including leaders, international and local staff. I would highly recommend Paige for a position in your establishment. Yours sincerely, Rosie Jenner

To Whom it may concern, This letter is a personal character reference for Paige Jasper. I can confirm that I have worked closely with Paige for 2 years. In this time, we have attended and hosted personal development courses together and contributed to several company development plans. In my personal interactions with Paige, I have witnessed a dedicated work ethic, which consists of motivation, ambition and excellent communication skills. I would highly recommend you consider Paige for your position. From my time working with her, she consistently demonstrated a calming nature, which held her directly responsible for defusing tensed situations between clients and staff, as well as between colleagues. Paige has an excellent work ethic and will put more time and effort into her job than is required. Whilst working with Paige, not only has she proven she is able to follow instructions with enthusiasm, she has also displayed excellent initiative and, on many occasions, used her personal time to research ways to improve the company. As a colleague, Paige is generous with her time and advice and will go out of her way to assist those who need support and guidance. This emphasises her dedication to her role. Beyond that, I would also add that Paige is highly approachable and friendly, making it easy for everyone to get along with her. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about Paige’s specific skills and experience. Yours sincerely, Miss Charlotte Dowsett
