I have recently returned to the UK after travelling around Australia for a year and I feel that the experience I have gained throughout my journey as well as my previous experience working in schools will make me an ideal candidate to be anyone's new nanny.
Throughout the first few months of my time spent in Australia I worked with two families, one with three children aged seven, four and two and the other with an eleven, two ten year old twins, six and two. My position for both of them was being their Au Pair, where I lived with the families and looked after their children during the day and night depending on their schedules. My duties ranged from cooking, preparing milk bottles, changing nappies, driving, went on daily walks, assist them with their homework and prepared them for their bedtime.
But before I went to Australia, I have previously worked at Philip Morant School and College as a Learning Support Assistant. I had worked in this position for two years before I studied my postgraduate degree and assisted students of all ages with learning and behavioural difficulties. I would work alongside the teachers and try to help the children across multiple class subjects and school activities that they took part in. |

Au Pair - July 2017 to December 2017
Throughout the first few months of my time spent in Australia I worked with two families, one with three children aged seven, four and two and the other with an eleven, two ten year old twins, six and two. My position for both of them was being their Au Pair, where I lived with the families and looked after their children during the day and night depending on their schedules. Philip Morant School – Learning Support Assistant - September 2012 to August 2014
It was my role to support children of different learning abilities and disabilities, across multiple subjects in their classes. It was a privilege to work one-on-one with young people of different learning needs. I had to be flexible in my approach to managing behavior, had to be a positive role model and always endorsed high impact learning. I ran library sessions, assisting pupils in extra need with literacy.

Ereca Hinton |
I worked with Ereca and her family between July to October last year. I left the family at the end of October as I decided to look for farm work so that I may possibly get a second year in Australia after her family showed me the beauty of their country. |
|
|
Merinda Roll |
I worked for Merinda and her family a few days after I left Ereca's family to work with them. I was situated on their farm and temporarily worked for them while Merinda and her husband worked on their fields during harvest season. |
