  About me:

A Philosophy Graduate from May 2018, I am a creative and engaging character who would love the opportunity to provide care and support for a family. My hobbies include swimming (I swam the English Channel aged 15. ), scrapbooking, and attending public talks and debates.

I have experience working with children: from volunteering at schools in India and Cambodia, to delivering workshops in schools across England with the charity Integrate UK. I have also worked as a nanny for a year, picking two teenagers up from school, making dinner and ensuring they did their homework.

I currently live 23 miles from Birmingham, but am happy to commute. Also able to work in London. Preferably looking for a live-in position.

  Work Experience & Education Background

Work Experience 1 Year, references 1
2014-2015 I looked after two teenagers twice a week. I was responsible for their general wellbeing: I cooked, drove them to and from school, and ensured that they did there homework.

I currently deliver workshops and talks to children, the age ranging from 8 years old to 19. Workshops discuss topics such as FGM, gang culture and gender based violence. I have to be sensitive and open minded in leading discussions, and tailor the talks depending on the relevant context and audience.

I have also taught English in Cambodia and India in primary and secondary schools. In India I also ran arts and crafts, and sports lessons with children aged 5-7.
