| My name is Mrs Afroja Wasem and I have recently relocated from Cardiff to Birmingham. I relocated because I got married on 1st August 2017. I am 27 years of age and seek full time employment in the Childcare sector. I was born and raised in Cardiff by my parents who moved to the UK from Bangladesh in the 1980's. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother, we are all 2 years apart in age, so we grew up together and remain very close. Both my parents are 1 of 10 children, so I have a large extended family and we are all also very close. Coming from such a large family, I understand the importance of treating all people with respect, despite their age. One thing my parents always cared for, was our education, my older sister became a Doctor, I studied law in university, my younger sister became a Pharmacist and my brother is studying Electrical Engineering. I have always been stuck in a 9 to 5 office job, but now seek to broaden my horizons. I do not have any paid experience of childcare, but I do have experience in childcare from babysitting my little cousins and nieces and nephews, my mothers house is always full of children. I have always been interested in childcare as for me it is a familiar place to be, it is my comfort zone. Whilst in school, everyone always said I would make a great teacher because I am able to build rapport with children. In my spare time, I like to keep fit, cook and read. After trying something different for all these years, I am now ready to return to what I enjoy the most. I hope that you will consider my application. |
