  About me:

I am a highly motivated, reliable, fun, creative and conscientious individual. I work very well in a team and also individually. I am extremely organised as well as enthusiastic, patient, committed and hardworking.
I have a keen interest in sport. I played for West Wales Netball Academy and a local netball team. During University I joined my University netball team and played many games across England. I also played for Llanelli Tennis Club Ladies team and volunteered coaching there.
I love taking on new challenges and overcoming fears, for example I was lucky enough to spend 10 days as a team member with the Tall Ships Youth Trust aboard Stavros. S. Niarchos calling at various European and British ports. Here I overcame my fear of heights by climbing to the top of the main mast whilst at sea.
My love for the ocean and travelling was tested whilst working and living on board cruise ships for months at a time, as there was a lot of water for most of it. . However it was a great experience and I feel I not only learnt and developed my childcare skills but my communication skills and team work as all workers were from different part of the world.
My expedition for my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award was an opportunity I thoroughly enjoyed and proved that working in a team and on occasions leading it, was both fulfilling and proud achievement.
I have had a fantastic opportunity where by I was able to set up my own youth clubs through Swansea Community Council. Watching this club develop and putting in place plans for more clubs has really brought out my love for caring and teaching children in different ways. Seeing the children excited and waiting outside the club before it starts really makes me feel proud that I am giving the children something to look forward to in the week and I can give back to the community.
I have many other interests and hobbies including cooking, socialising, music and caring for others.
