Duties
• I help support the people we support to live a dignified and independent life within the community. This may include provision of personal, emotional, social and physical support on a 24-hour basis or shift rota system in accordance to the care plan.
I assist the people we support in their day to day living within their own home, promoting independence and diversity in their lives in accordance with the people we support care plan
I assist the people we support with personal care, including getting up /going to bed, washing, bathing, dressing/undressing and toileting.
I assist people we support with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence and help in the use and care of aids and personal equipment
I do light cleaning tasks such as, changing beds, tidying rooms, laundry (washing & repairing), empty commodes.
Planning, preparing and serving meals, feed the people we support who need assistance, wash up tidy away and clean kitchen / dining room
I assist with medication and as documented in the service user care plan.
