Freelance home carer seeks work in Harrogate area.
I am an experienced carer. I have worked in both the private and public sectors, and been PAYE & freelance. For many years I worked as a healthcare professional as such I have a BSc hons and I am NHS trained.
I am looking to provide care to support individual's staying in their homes and maintaining their independence. I can either visit on a daily basis sharing care via a rota to cover 5 of 7 days (working alternate weekends), OR share live-in care provision with another carer or carers. In addition to companionship I can provide personal care, light housekeeping, simple cooking and food preparation, light gardening and support with any other matters. For daily care provision there is the possibility of ad-hoc overnight sleep-ins by pre-arrangement.
I have experience of working with children, adults and the elderly and I have worked in an EMI unit & with physically and with learning disabled people. I have provided bespoke support and care in hospital (private & NHS), nursing & residential homes and in individual’s private homes.
I have online DBS clearance which is updated each year and shows that I have a clean criminal record.
I do not drive so I am seeking work within Harrogate town boundaries, but could consider further afield if live-in care is required.
I am a friendly, reliable, responsible and level-headed middle-aged woman. My children have left home so I have time to give in a focussed, unhurried way.
