I am a 21 year old female and live at home with my family. We are a fostering family and therefore have had many children over the years who we have cared for. My twin brothers have severe additional support needs and I am often their main carer. I also babysit for a few families with kids of varying ages. I have a wealth of experience of caring for children with various additional support and health needs.
I am a very creative person. I have an HNC in music and love to sing and play the piano. I think that music is a great way to allow children to express themselves.
I am a very patient and trustworthy person and love to care for children. I have learned through looking after children of various ages and who have differing needs, that each child is different and not everything will work the same for every child. This is why I like to see what works for each individual child rather than having a one size fits all approach. |
