We are a full-time working couple in our 40s with two young children, aged 5 and 6. Both children are at school.
We are looking for a Live-Out Nanny to work Monday to Friday. During term-time, the ideal hours are 2pm-7pm (25hrs p/w) but there is some flexibility with the start-time. During some of the school holidays (approximately 6 weeks out of the 13, to be nominated by the parents) the hours are extended to 9am - 6pm.
Our son has special needs and has hearing problems, which causes learning delay. He primarily needs additional help with speech and language and it's all about practicing and role play to encourage learning. He also understands and uses Makaton. Any candidate with an interest in special needs would be of interest.
The role encapsulates all the duties associated with caring for the children, as well as support with household management. Primary duties include picking up our children from school, helping them with their homework/ after-school reading, playing with them, providing them with tea at around 5pm and taking them to after-school clubs.
Candidates must have:
' At least 3 years childcare experience with references to support
' Current DBS-check relating to childcare
' Full clean driving license and own car
Please contact us for further details. |
