| DUNFERMLINE:
My husband and I work full-time and are struggling with childcare now that my daughter has started school. My job is full-time home-based therefore I have been finishing work at 2.45 to pick her up from school and then pick my son up from nursery later in the afternoon. This makes it difficult to carry on working and I therefore need to catch up on my work in the evenings. There's a very long waiting list for the out-of-school club and I don't want to keep relying on the goodwill of friends. I'm therefore looking for someone for 4 hours a week (2 hours on a Monday and 2 hours on a Wednesday) to:
(a) 3-5pm on Mondays: pick my daughter up from school (Carnegie) and entertain her either at home or take her out so I can carry on working. My son goes to school nursery on Mondays but I will pick him up at 4.20pm. I'd also like you to do help out with laundry and/or meal preparation for the kids from 4.30 - 5pm.
(b) 3-5pm on Wednesdays: pick up my daughter from school and take her to swimming class at 3.45 - 4.15pm, and help with kids meal preparation from 4.45 - 5pm. I will pick my son up from nursery at 5.30pm.
If you don't have a vehicle, we can discuss adding you to the insurance for my car. In the longer term, I would like her to attend after-school club, therefore this may not be a long-term appointment. However, she is 20th on the list, so it could take quite a long time for her to get a place. We have a cat, but you won't see her! |
