My Name is Chanel Wallace and I am 24 years old. I have just moved to UK, London. I chose to leave South Africa to spread my wings and due to the political issues at the universities that has hampered my studies. I would really like to further my career In early childhood development.
I have been working at a daycare center for the past year and have really enjoyed my time with the children. Duties at the aftercare are included on my CV
I have also dealt with Children who have special needs e. g. ADD/ADHD / Turrets and Autism. I also lived with a sister who had Battens Disease (Neurological regressive brain disease) for the first 5 years of her life (sadly is a terminal disease and she past away) and so I have learnt to deal with these unique individuals.
Over the past 10 or years, I have Au Paired for Mrs Monia Cloete, who has one son (Connor). He was 4 years old then and is now 14. (Letter of reference attached with my CV)
I am soft spoken and always willing to help others. I am caring, loving and compassionate and have lots of patience with young children. I take personal interest and get involved with my children that I work with, they become my own, I get very attached and I love seeing their progress and feel it is so important to give them the recognition they deserve. This is extremely rewarding and I love witnessing the dedication and response of the children as they grow and develop
