Hi,
I'm an enthusiastic helpful 24 year old from Manchester, UK. I'm looking for a family to join as well as just work for, in a live-in position, helping with school/nursery runs, homework and extracurricular activities such as walking, dancing and swimming (and watching Disney/Pixar movies).
Expect me to be fun, helpful and flexible along with wanting to sing and listen to lots of music and do arts and crafts.
I am vegan with high fruit and vegetable intake, with some food allergies, this does not hinder me in any way when caring for children/cooking/general work. I can be around and handle all foods apart from all seafood including shellfish, which is my severe allergy.
I am mainly looking for work in the UK, able to start immediately.
Lots of placements in various childcare and education settings during my BA Hons Early Years degree, over a year in one nursery having time and key children in each age range (6 months to 1, 1 to 2, 2 to 3 and 3 for 4's) mainly planning activities to encompass the national curriculum, along with international curricula and lots of outdoor play. This is followed by just over one contract working for Disney Cruise Line, in nurseries for 6 month-old babies to potty trained 3 year-olds with additional time in the other children's and teenagers youth activity spaces.
From all of the above, it would be awesome to experience a new culture or way of life, working closely with a new family, being able to use my experience to help care for and educate their children with the addition of lots of fun extracurricular and creative activities.
Please note that although I do not personally own a car, my driving licence is clean and I'll happily get refresher lessons.
I consider myself to be kind, hardworking and helpful along with being very diverse in music and activities that I am interested in. I used to be part of a charity show choir where I enjoyed learning new songs and how to sing them, in unison with others. I very much enjoy time outdoors, going for long walks and generally being by the sea.
