I have just started at the University of Birmingham and would be looking for part time work.
I was born and raised in Stamford, Lincolnshire with my parents, brother and sister along with three Labradors, 2 cats and a rabbit. I attended Stamford high school where I played hockey and swam for the school. This is where I started babysitting just doing the occasional night. I then went on to do my A- levels and during these I regularly babysat on a Friday where we do activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, walking to the park or very occasional driving somewhere for the day out. I haven't got a huge amount of child-minding for non family members but I have a younger sister that I grew up babysitting. I also took part in my local youth council which involved working with younger children up to the age of 11. Throughout this time I also trained as a lifeguard and swimming teacher which meant I was interacting almost daily with very young children and making sure they were having fun but that I still held the correct authority.
I am young but I'm enthusiastic, caring and would do the upmost to uphold the standard expected. |
