  Work Experience & Education Background

Work Experience 6 Yrs, references 0
I have been babysitting from the age of 16 with many families and worked close with families who took me on as their nanny, which was volunteer. During these times, I worked very closely to a family whom had five children age range starting at 8 months right up to 8 years. During this time, I took the children to and from school as well as clubs. Light cooking, supporting homework and reading. Providing activities and games to keep the children entertained. Also during the six weeks I looked after two children from 4 years to 6 years and during this time I provided the children with fun and educational activities such as bike rides, treasure hunts as well as teaching them how to swim.
I started my first paid nanny job in March 2011 for a single mother with 1 child aged 18 months, I worked closely and was a live in. during the time my daily routines with the child was waking the child up, giving a bottle getting washed and dressed for the day as well as making and serving breakfast. Planning a variety of activities and days out such as play groups, walks, parks, petting zoo and many more. The family seemed very lovely and I enjoyed my time working with them. I finished that job in August 2013 as the family moved away.
My second nanny job was part time with a family of three children age range from 6-9 years old. This job was a live out and my normal duties were waking the children up and preparing breakfast and helping/supporting while the children got ready for school. Once read I took the children to school in my car I would pick the children up at home time and once home start preparing dinner for them, supporting and helping with homework. On days off from school I would plan days out taking the children adventure parks, visiting Santa and many more. I started this job in November 2013 and still working there at the moment.

Overall I have six years’ experience working with children of all ages, when studying in childcare I worked in schools, Nurseries, afterschool clubs and lunch time supervision.
Working with children is a very inspiring career and I like to leave a positive impact in the children’s life and prepare them for their own future journey. I’m very open minded and believe children are the future. I have been told by many people that I have a connection when working with children as I give of a warm atmosphere and children feel very comfortable and safe when I’m around.
