My name is Nikita. I am 24 years of age. I have a son who is nearly 6 years old. I currently work with nursery and reception and I am interested in finding some work for the summer 6 weeks holiday and term times. I may also be able to work some weekends. If it is possible I would need to bring my son along but he would be glad of the company, he is very well behaved and has good manners. I am very caring and patient with the children and have good control over their behaviour as I have learn't many different strategies. I prefer to work with children aged 0-5 but I would be happy to look after children who are older. I am very nurturing and enthusiastic so I am able to have fun with the children. I used to teach dance, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem. I have younger brothers and sisters who i sometimes babysit for. I love crafts with the children so i am not afraid to get messy. A messy child is a happy child. I have experience of working in a variety of different childcare settings. Aswel as my diploma i have first aid food hygiene and a child protection certificate. I have a registered dbs certificate.

| Since I was 16 I have worked in various primary schools and had experience with all children including SEN. I have worked with new directions education which has given me the chance to work with children of all ages. I currently work at Seaview primary school in the nursery. I have also taught dance for children aged 3-18 helping them to build confidence and self-esteem. I did this along side solar dance company pontardawe. I was also an assistant leader in llangyfelach primary wraparound service. . and have experience in planning activities for children to progress in their learning. I have a son who is nearly 6 so i have experience how to look after small babies too. Also I used to baby sit for younger siblings of mine. |
