| My name is Lauren, I'm 26 years old, im from Llanelli where I grew up with my older brother (28) and younger sister (23) we lived in a lovely area called stradey, we were right next to the rugby stadium which we all loved going to watch the games. In 2003 my little brother came along, I was like a mother hen helping my mother with anything I could and it was then I realised I wanted to go into childcare. | When I was 16 I started an apprenticeship in a nursery but being the teenager I was I decided I wanted a full time job so I could earn more money so I was in and out of jobs such as kitchen assistant, cleaner and some retail jobs. My cousin has run her own child minding business for 10 years and 4 years ago she decided she wanted to expand and she offered me a position, first I was just doing a few hours a week along side my retail job then I soon gave up the retail work to go full time at the childminders, I have been working there for the last 4 years and I love it, but now need to find work closer to my new home in swansea |
