| I am a very friendly, approachable, confident, reliable person. I am punctual and organised and have work experience from many different roles, from customer service and hospitality to housekeeping, which required me to be able to clean to a professional standard. I have experience working with children from my previous role as a support worker in a special educational needs school. I really enjoy working with children, and from working in this role I gained experience in building a positive relationship with the children, becoming someone they could trust and rely on, someone who they could have fun with but also I was able to discipline them when required, and assist them with their school work and day-to-day activities. | I have previous experience working as a student support worker at a special educational needs school. Day to day roles included assisting the children one-to-one or in groups during lessons, learning the unique needs and abilities of the children, developing a positive relationship with the students and staff to support both in any way that was required. This was an incredibly valuable experience for me, in which I learned so much about the needs of children but also how to support them with school work, and valuable skills in working as a team with the other staff and sometimes parents in order to support the children in the best way possible. |
