I am a self-employed Dance and Drama Teacher, my focus being ‘expression through the Arts’. I deliver dance and drama based programmes across the West Midlands, with the aim to improve confidence, emotional well-being, communication and personal development. I am very creative by nature and incorporate this across all aspects of my teaching / childcare work, I believe that creativity isn’t taught but is nurtured. whether that’s via school projects, in the kitchen (healthy baking is a hobby of mine), indoor or outdoor activities…I like to provide a forum for children to express themselves, be creative and ultimately have fun.
Some of the fondest memories of my childhood includes time spent with my babysitter, which is partly what inspired me to pursue a career working with children. I am passionate about working within the industry, it’s very rewarding seeing children achieve knowing that I have been a part of their journey.
Being creative, ambitious, confident, adaptable, committed and self-motivated are attributes I possess, as well as having excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. I have many hobbies and interests including, dance, yoga, fitness and going to the theatre. I am generally pretty active and embrace new experiences. I am looking forward to my next adventure.
