  About me:

I have had various childcare experiences. I have experience with special needs. I enjoy looking after and interacting with children and watching them grow. I have a qualification in Level 2 Childcare and I’m hoping to work towards my Level 3 Childcare online. In my spare time I enjoy music and playing different instruments, I enjoy art and using different textures to create art pieces. I enjoy swimming and going out with my friends. I enjoy baking cakes. I live in Coventry but I am willing to travel to Bedworth using public transport, I am hoping to be doing my driving lessons soon so I can get my license.

Tiverton Special School
My roles and responsibilities are to support the children with their daily routines and hygiene care. I deal with challenging behaviour on a daily basis and need to think fast on how to distract and defuse a situation. I have stepped up at last minute to take control when there are members of staff off sick. I help the children to have the best school experience as they would if they were in mainstream school.

Coundon Primary School
As my part of my college course at Coventry College I attended for one day at a school to gain more hands-on experience. I supported the children in every day lessons and ensured they were happy and safe in their environment. I had a good connection with the children this was shown when they were comfortable to tell me about their worries and what was upsetting them.

Precious Moments Nursery
I attended the above Nursery as part of my college course. I supported the children in day to day activities and planned activities to help their development. I also assisted children who were going through the diagnosis of autism or were having learning difficulties.

Voluntary Childminding.
During school half term I worked for my auntie who is a registered childminder. I assisted the children by creating arts and crafts, playing board games, going on days out and supervising a group of children. I assisted with a child who had been diagnosed with Autism, I worked alongside her working on activities together, like making castles, playing games and I also helped her to engage with the other children.
