I gained my SVQ3 in childcare at a nursery where I did my apprenticeship. I was there for two years and loved every minute of it.
I also worked as a mother helps, looking after three children alongside their mother. Two of the children were autistic and one of them was nonverbal. During my time with this family, I spent my time either helping with cooking and cleaning, or playing with the children to give their mother a break.
I prefer working with pre school children but also have experience with older children as I nanny for 10year old twins. |
