| Hi my name is Chyna and I am an aspiring social worker who is currently studying part time at university. I have grown up as the eldest sibling in a single parent household, therefore I have a lot of experience tending to children, their needs and having fun with them in general, this had made me very family orientated. I don't have any dislikes, I like to try new activities and be adventurous as I believe life is short so it is important to have fun and enjoy life as much as you can. I'd like to think of my self as a bubbly and kind-hearted individual who is there for anyone at any time if they need anything. My studies are important to me, however if I have the opportunity to work with children as a real job then I feel like that will give me the first hand experience that I can then apply to my studies. |

| I have not had any paid work experience in the childcare sector, however I have had experience with my siblings. I have three younger siblings and growing up in a single parent household, I often took the on the role as being the mother to changing their dirty nappies and feeding them to singing nursery rhymes in the middle of the night to help them get back to sleep while my mother could sleep so she could go to work the next morning. This was something I enjoyed as it gave not only me but my siblings memories that we can always remember. If I was offered a job with children I would make sure I tend to their specific individual needs whether that would be health issues or just simple food preferences. I would always come up with different and new activities to try out that are safe, and ran by the parents of course, to make sure the children are having fun but also are comfortable with me. |
