| I've looked after my neighbours children this age group range from 6-12 this group of children consisted of three boy the youngest was age 6 then there was an 11 the last boy was 12 then you had the girls the youngest was 6 and the oldest was 12. I would meet them out there house make the a quick after school snack then they would get change talk to me about what they did in school they would then watch tv after and of tv i would tell to show me if they had any homework or if they did not understand something they learnt in school and if they would like me to explain it to them then they would knock for the other children that lived on our road and i watch them outside and join in with the game that they would play for example football or hide and seek i would be the only adult watching five kids. then when it time to go in i would make sure each child went home i would escort each of them home and with the two i was looking i would take them home tell them have a bath and get ready for bed. While I'm waiting for the parent to come back i would do some cleaning like washing dish and brushing the kitchen and living room wipe down everything and give it a quick mop. i would look after each child in the group i just describe to you sometime i would take them to dentist appointment sometime the children would have their friends over and i would contact the children friends parent and make sure first are the children allowed over from both set of parent and secondly are the friends parent fine with me looking after their children. |
