I am a final year Psychology student (graduating this summer 2018) originally from the Czech republic, with experience in clinical psychology posts and care work, including both adults and children. In terms of psychology, my interests largely lie in populations with mental illness and special needs that require support and care, including children with atypical developmental patterns, such as learning disabilities, ADHD or Autism. I am constantly working towards the goal of becoming a licensed Clinical Psychologist.
I am a sporty person, a competitive level swimmer and yoga beginner. I also play several musical instruments and I spend a lot of free time painting, reading and writing. I am particularly interested in history and philosophy. I currently volunteer with See Me Scotland, an organization that tackles mental health stigma and discrimination. |
