- Au pair Germany, 1 year, from Oct'16 until Set'17.
I lived in Karlsruhe with a German/Brazilian family and I took care a
sweet baby girl and I have started there and she was 1, 5yo. The parents are
divorced so, I was the person who were responsible to keep speaking
portuguese with the baby all the time.
Since it was myself, the mom and the baby in the house, I was actually
more than an au pair, I was more like a nanny housekeeper. But I also
used to travel with the baby twice a month from Karlsruhe to Munich
because I used to bring the baby to the father's house in Munich.
basically I used to take care of everything about baby' life.
I used to bring and pick her up from Kindergarten. I used to cook for
her, to play with her. Laundry, food shopping.
- I also have a short Au Pair experience in Italy from Set'17 to Dec'17 because I went to Italy to request my italian citizenship (my great granparents were Italians) and I chose to stay in Italy as an au pair because then I could learn more about the country.
There in Italy, I took care of 2 adorable girls and they are 5 and 9yo and I was a au pair properly so, I used to bring and pick them up from school, I used to help with the dog (but just because I wanted it, I asked them to take care of the dog because I really miss my brazilian dogs/cat), I used to cook for lunch when the mother weren't at home and basically I was a big sister/english teacher for the kids.
