I have years of experience taking care of children.
I started taking care of my own younger sister, when I was 15 years old and she was 2.
Later, when I was in college, I did babysitting work during the afternoons or on weekends at night. I took care of young children and babies, gave them dinner, played with them and took them to bed. Since I finished college my experience taking care of children has been with my own nephews. The most challenging experiences are when their parents go on vacation, for up to a week or so. I move to their house and do all the tasks their parents do for them, wake them up in the morning, dress them, give them breakfast, accompany them to the school bus, change diapers, bathe them, cook, do some tidying up, feed them, help them with scool homework, play with them, take them to the playground and take them to bed reading a story. Over the years, with my nephews, the tasks and challenges have changed, they are already 3 children, now the oldest is 8 years old and the youngest is 3. |
