Please let me tell you a little bit about my experiences and personality.
I am 30 years old, coming from Hungary and have been living with my boyfriend.
I spent the last 5 years (apart from a couple of months) in childcare. Mostly I worked as a nanny as well as a Montessori-teacher assistant, support worker in a hospital and as a teaching assistant in a school from the age of 10 months until 18 years.
Although my original educational background is psychology, I wish to work with children in the future and apply all my knowledge into it. Therefore I will not only make sure that their physical and educational needs are met, but it is also very important to me that I look after their mental, emotional and developmental well-being and that I create a stimulating environment for their stages. Working with children have been providing me with the greatest job satisfaction, their loveliness and cheerfulness make my working days worthy and enjoyable.
Apart from my studies, I had a chance to gain some experiences in the Gina Ford method with a baby from the age 10 months, so I would be able to work with this approach if needed, but I am open to adapt other ways too.
As well as I spent a fantastic year as a Montessori teacher assistant in 2013. During this special art and play sessions for children aged between 18 months and 4 years, we developed their emotional, mental, physical and social skills with a special psychological and educational method. I was responsible for organizing weekly art projects and leading groups independently at times, so I could also apply it to our playtime and other activities.
And with my teaching assistant experience, I am familiar with the national curriculum and would be a confident help with any school work.
As regards my personal skills, I consider myself a very reliable, punctual and hard-working person with nice and happy personality, who loves smiling all the time and enjoys having fun with children, but also tends to have firm and consistent boundaries with them. I have an endless patient and am able to stay calm and organized in every situation. I like being outside and nature very much or doing creative art and crafts.
About the practical issues. I would be happy to travel to work up to 40 minutes/route, drive the children to different places, travel occasionally with the family, look after pets and do child-related household duties, such as cooking.
I have been very lucky to work with amazing families where I was rather a part of the children’s lives than a household employee and I wish to continue working in this kind of atmosphere.
If these experiences, my educational background and my natural caring personality make you consider me as the right nanny, please get in touch.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Erika was our nanny from November 2016 until September 2017. She was taking care of our 11 old months baby and our 5 year old boy. She was working for us 4 days a weeks and has been highly responsible and caring for our two kids.
Erika is very reliable and has been caring
out the instructed tasks very well. She took our boys to playgroups, parks and the library and also arranged play date with other kids for the older one independently.
Erika has been also very patient with the kids all the time and has been always punctual. She cooked healthy meals for the family and had always an eye on healthy eating habits for the kids.
Further, she was overseeing the homework of the older one, was carrying out arts and crafts with the kids and helped in communicating with the school when I was at work. She also went to school occasions on my behalf if needed.
As we decided that it is time now for the younger one to start nursery unfortunately we needed to terminate our contract.
Erika can be highly recommended as a nanny who is also able to take care of kids of younger age.
It is hard for us to let her go but we wish her all the best in her future career and thank her very much for her time with our kids
Please feel free to get in touch if you have any additional questions
Yours sincerely,
Sylvene Pruess

Kati Menzer |
I have known Erika since February 2013, when she joined Toddler Times Montessori Creative Playgroup and Art Classes. Erika has been working with us as of March as a teaching assistant three mornings a week.
She has been enthusiastic from the start and keen on learning about the Montessori philosophy and practice. She is reliable, trustworthy and a hard working individual. Her psychology background helps her to be reflective in her practice.
Erika is very comfortable with communicating with parents and often discusses issues related to the children's progress with them.
Erika is open for new ideas, flexible in her approach and adapted very well to the culture of Toddler Times. She comes to you with my highest recommendation.
Please contact me if you need more information about Erika.
Sincerely,
Kati Mencer
