My name is Becky, I'm a 28 year old mother of 1 boy named Travis who is 6 years old. I have lived in Bristol my whole life and know the City like the back of my hand.
I have worked in Childcare for over 4 years now, I started out as a volunteer for an after school club and gradually worked my way up to being the Manager of the same company. I have been the Manager for about a year now and have been the Lead on Inclusion for over 2 years. I have a lot of training and experience with SEN.
I have a Level 3 NVQ in Children's and young peoples workforce.
Alongside this job i have worked within a Nursery as an LSA 1:1 with a young boy with additional needs. I have also worked within the Bristol Children's Hospital as a Nursing Assistant.
I am a volunteer for a local charity called SENDaWelcome which provide play experiences, opportunities and fun days for children with additional needs and disabilities in the local community.
My hobbies include Swimming, Yoga, Walking and taking my son out on scooter rides to the local skate park.
I am fun, active and outgoing. I am very creative and enjoy planning and coming up with new activities for children to expand their learning through play. |
