My name is Danielle, I am 22 and I am living in Leeds. For the past year I have been working as a bar assistant, since I left University in July 2016. I was studying Fine Art and studied first, at the University of Cumbria and then at Liverpool Hope University. I hope to pick up my studies again within the next few years and graduate with a teaching degree.
I am a fun, caring and creative individual. Coming from a large family, I am a very family oriented person and spend a lot of time with them. some of our favourite activities include hiking, camping, going for picnics, cinema or staying in and having film nights, going to our favourite restaurants or cooking for the whole family, games nights and much more.
Going to university has taught me a lot about many things, one of them being, the importance of making time for the people in your life that you care about.
Studying Art had taught me a lot about how effective and productive it can be to think outside the box, to push your boundaries and get outside your comfort zone, whether that be in your work, personal or everyday life.
I have many hobbies. That of which include, singing, going to gigs, spending time with my favourite people, I enjoy a good film and like a good book even more. I like outdoor adventures, enjoying the sun AND snow, but also like to cozy up in doors. I enjoy keeping myself busy with activities such as drawing, painting, writing music and sewing.
All through my life I've been involved with events such as dance shows, theatre, performing at gigs, achieveing my Duke of Endinburgh Silver award and volunteering with art projects.
My biggest dislike is people that are rude. Spending a few years working as a waitress and a bar assistant, I have come into contact with a lot of these. How you treat people says a lot about you as a person and manners are everything.
Regarding experience, as I said before, I am just one in a family of many. A family that likes to pop out small children very often. Being the eldest, being on call as chief babysitter was something I learned was a way of life pretty much as soon as I learned to look after myself. |

Since the age of 12 I have been caring for my younger siblings and the children of family and friends. I have looked after and cared for children between the ages of 1-11.
I understand that children, especially young children need to be constantly stimulated. It's how they learn, it's how they grow and it's how they because me the people they are meant to be .
Children need to be stimulated by the world around them.
How I intend to provide care for your child/children:
- I pride myself on being a better than average cook. (I love cooking with fresh food and cooking healthy meals. baking, on the other hand, is something your child and I will have to learn how to do at the same time)
-I have a pretty good attention span after years of goIng over the same piece of art work again and again for long hours so the fact that your child wants me to read the same book 5 times or be a pirate for the next two hours is not going to bother me
- working in hospitality in between uni, 12 hour shifts is the norm to me so I don't get tired easily.
- I have been taught how to be able to see the smallest incline of art in a piece of work, so those crazy mushroom things your child keeps drawing. . I'll do my best to at least pretend I know they're supposed to be people.
- I enjoy keeping busy and actually really like doing activities like walking, swimming, going for picnics and all other fun things so I'll try my best to be a fun nanny. |
