I am a primary school teacher looking for extra work over the summer only although would consider ongoing tutoring during term time. I have a deep understanding of the Early Years curriculum and child development, and have specialised in this area leading an Early Years setting within a primary school as well as being the lead Reception Teacher. From September I will be the Year 1 teacher in the same school, leading on, and training staff members in, phonics teaching. Although I have experience as an Early Years teacher I also have many years supporting in KS1 and KS2 as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant before qualifying to teach and therefore am able to build positive relationships with children of all ages and their parents/guardians/carers alike. I have studied child protection and safe guarding law and have a paediatric first aid qualification. I am DBS checked and all of my qualifications and certification is available to see.
Within my personal life I have been happily married for 10 years although we have been in a committed relationship for 20 years. I have a wonderful 14 year old daughter and 23 year old step son. |
