Where to start.
Well firstly i am a child of 8, I have 6 sisters and 1 brother my mother was a single working parent so looking after children has always been part of my life, its like a second nature to me.
I enjoy doing arts and crafts and i am also a very outdoorsy adventurous kind of person I sold my own canvases at a local event and was asked to show my work at the NEC art gallery show, I have taken part in the Duke of Edinburgh award and also climbed mount snowdon.
I am a very flexible person and will always put others first and always try to help out when someone is in need or asks for help when appropriate.
I am a qualified dental technician and have also worked at a dental nurse for a year caring for all types of ages including children who have injured themselves at home or during sport and have knocked a few teeth out, i have learnt how to keep calm n these situations and also learnt how to keep others at ease and feel comfortable.
Although i have a promising future in the dental field i am only ever happy caring for children and helping them grow and thrive, this is why i am looking for a job in childcare, whist studying and working i have cared for family and friends children as a live in.
1- Rashdah Zaki (single mother 1 child)
I lived with Rashdah and her 4 year old son with autism for a year whilst studing dental technology, i would help out with the house hold duties, pick up a few groceries on the way home, nip to the local shops and care for her son, play games with him, go to the park, bath him and babysit when needed.
2- Mehvish Ali (single mother 3 children)
I lived with Mehvish and her 23 yr old special needs daughter, 9 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son, i would help get the kids ready for school in the mornings and help with breakfast, i would help the children with reading and homework and play games, sports and do arts and crafts with the children, i would make sure the 23 yr old was ready for when the carer would come to take her out and make separate meals for her as she was very specific on what she wanted to eat, i would also play with her separately, convince her to have sowers and do her hair for her, as she hated changing her clothes and washing.
3- Saima Afzaly (single mother 2 children)
I am currently living with Saima and her 1 year old and 3 year old i have been working here for the past 6 months, i would help with getting the kids ready for daily activities, bathing them, washing clothes, washing dishes, getting the kids ready for bed, babysitting, taking the children out for walks and also taking them to the park and putting them both to sleep when mother isn't available. |

Rashdah Zaki |
I worked for this reference as a live in for one year whilst studying part time at college, it was agreed that i would stay with them for a year as she had just found out he was autistic and needed some extra support until she had got the hang of things. |
|
|
Saima Aafzaly |
I am currently working with this reference as a live in, her children will be starting nursery very soon so she doesn't need as much support as she previously did. |
