  About me:

I am an undergraduate student studying MSci Psychology at the University of Birmingham, in my 4th year. I am especially interested in the child psychology aspects of my university course and aspire to become a child psychologist in the future. I am a highly motivated, hard-working, and a people-focused individual, thriving in any social situation that I find myself in. In my free time, I love to read and work-out either by swimming or going to the gym. I have demonstrated my outstanding reliability and punctuality during my previous role as a Senior Mentor for NCS, The Challenge, which is a 3-week residential programme designed for young people, which I have completed two times, once in summer 2016 and once in summer of 2017. I pride myself on my organisation skills which are present in all areas of my life.

  Work Experience & Education Background

Work Experience 2 Yrs, references 3
Between 2012-2014, I regularly cared for and supervised a 3-year old boy with significant challenging behaviour. During the time we spent together, I would cook and feed him dinner, play with him, take him to the park

In my role as a senior mentor for NCS, The Challenge, in July 2016 and 2017, I supervised and supported one group of 12 young people (aged 16 and 17) through a three-week residential summer programme. I followed the one group through the entire programme, working both one-on-one with each individual and as a team, completing various challenges. Demonstrated my outstanding organisational and punctuality skills through meeting deadlines whilst responsible for 12 young people.
