Hello there,
My name is Mary-Anne Pugh and I have recently qualified in HNC childhood practice. I have been studying childcare for over 3 years now and developed experience working with babies as well as 3-6 year old's. I completely love working with children and can imagine no other professional role for myself. Throughout working in a variety of nurseries I have became a trusted member of teams across West Dunbartonshire. On a daily basis I have created activities for children which suit their developmental milestones as well as their personal likes and interests. I have also worked with children with communication needs, and I developed knowledge on ways to support this. For example, I have been learning Macatone signs which support children in communicating non-verbally. I have I also developed positive relationships with parents and carers throughout these roles, and understood the responsibility of roles and trust in my care.
Ideally, I would prefer a part time position which is in a commutable distance for myself to travel.
Please if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me |

My name is Maryanne and I am a professional, caring and nurturing individual who understands the responsibility of working with babies and children. I am fun and creative and I enjoy keeping myself healthy by swimming and weightlifting.
As a qualified childcare practitioner and Nanny, I have had lots of varied experience including children newborns, twins, bi-lingual children, autistic children, additional support needs, toddlers and teenagers.
I fell in love with Nanning years back and I also write my own nanny blog to support families even more so.
I enjoy stimulating, and encouraging children's development while creating a safe, fun-loving environment to enjoy under my care. I am always professional with my clients and I ensure to care and support families and their children to the very best of my ability.
I attain many certificates including a Leadership award, Pediatric first aid, Full disclosure and criminal record check and I am fully qualified in childcare.
I have references to give you from families who I still have amazing relationships with as well as attaining my own professional portfolio of my work. For now please find a small reference below from a very recent Client.
"Mary Anne has been our nanny since our daughter Peggy Margot Powell was 3 weeks old. I was very careful to check all her references and speak to the families that had hired her before me. I was naturally a little nervous and overprotective with my newborn. From the first day of being with Peggy, Mary Anne showed a level of maturity that exceeded her years and had a knowledge of newborns and children in general that impressed me and made me feel at ease instantly. Cut to the present day and Peggy is over 19 months old and I honestly can’t imagine our life with Mary Anne in it. She has been with our family at every milestone and Peggy is a thriving, happy and super content little girl. Mary Anne is kind, understanding and very respectful. As a mother, I sometimes need help with clothes being tidied away and she even brings me cups of tea while I work. Mary Anne is truly an extension of our family and I cannot recommend her more highly. "
Working with your family I will consistently provide a trustworthy, quality level of support and professionalism to you and your children.
But most of all in my care your children will be filled with love, giggles and snuggles. |
